Wishcasting Wednesday – Story
I am a writer and storyteller, and always live in story whether awake or asleep. My gratitude to Jaime Ridler for Wishcasting Wednesday, which today reminds us to write our own story and asks:
What story do you wish to live or let go of?
I wish to let go of the destructive story that I am so irreparably damaged in mind and body that all I can see or feel is filtered through lenses of grief and fear and pain and loss, and that all I can show the world is the anger and sadness I hide behind, foolishly thinking that will keep me safe.
The story I wish to live is the inspiring story where light shines through the cracks in my being, making me better than simply whole but also radiant, where I have the strength to carry a soft heart in a strong and healthy body, where I am courageous in showing myself to the world in both words and actions, where I delight in sharing all forms of creativity, where I focus on healing love and simple joy, where I always, always, choose truth and laughter.

Inkgrrl — your wish is a wonderful one. I was too there myself not too far in the past. I send out loving energy and thoughts of strength and courage to you. You are safe to be who you are, pain and all. Your light is radiant from the core of you, it will build into a pure and loving flame.
