Happy Pelvis Redux

Not So Much

That pretty much sums up NaNo in November… I had just under 25,000 words on November 30th, despite an early spurt of typetiveness that gave me great hope for the rest of the month. On the plus side, I have a lot more meat hanging on what was bare bone in October, and much deepness to dive into. A lot of the non-writing was due to freaking out about the fibroid situation, which is going to require surgery. I know I’ll be fine, it’s just gonna suck between here and fine. Hopefully I can get the damned things out (out damned spots!) before the end of the calendar year and thus be done with the Year of Suck that 2007 has been. 2008 gets to be a Year of Recovery and Glowing Chocolate Happiness.

Pishtabubbles to Teh Suck.

Chocolate, cherries, whatever the hell you want, babe. It’s all gonna work out.

Energy therapy. Can’t say it enough–energy therapy energy therapy energy therapy. Won’t make the fibroids go, but still, it is good, good stuff.

25K is really good. I got to 56K, but I feel like you to a large degree, because at best I’m a quarter of a way through the draft because most of that 56K is me finding my feet. But we both did the best we could do. We won.

We will triumph! The fibroids will go and the books will be written. And yes, there will be both chocolate and happiness.
