on the road from Blooger…
Apparently there’s no way to automatically transfer all my old posts over from Blooger, and I’ve got almost seven (count ’em, 7!) years of sporadic commentary, mumbles and ravings stored up over there that I’m feeling sentimental about (hey, I NEED those quiz results from 2002 dammit). So this is gonna take a while.

I like the new look! Very purty!
I recently changed webhosts, and found that Blogger couldn’t reach the new ftp server for some reason. No more blog. Since I had been publishing the blog to my actual website, I had all the old stuff there, I just can’t add to it. So I threw it onto a section called “Archive” and now it’s just a boring old web site homepage again.

Dropped by to visit a fellow He Wrote / She Wrote attendee.
When things won’t transfer, I embed links to the old in the new.

Do you know if you hosted Blogged on your website via FTP or if it was a BlogSpot account?
There are reports that say if you login to your Blogger account and tell it to publish to a BlogSpot location instead of via FTP to your hosted domain, that WordPress will then allow you to import your posts and comments.
Hope this helps!

Brianna, where were you a month ago babe?? I finally figured out a week or so back that I could do just what you said, and it worked. Go forth and spread the word!
