Origami!
Ooh, neato-torpedo origami!
As always, my appreciation to Fouad Ajami for his clarity in laying out the longer-term issues we need to address before the rockets’ red glare gets in our eyes (thanks to Winds of Change for the link).
Ooh, getting all sorts more linky goodness:The Wild Monk - Can Iraq Inspire America?
Apparently I’m either a realist or a capitalist stooge, depending on who you ask. Yowza. Thanks to the WildMonk for that War Personality Test. Not sure how I feel about being called a capitalist stooge. *mumph*
I gotta read more CalPundit, that’s for sure. Linky goodness all over the damned place! Here’s a great post on surveillance technology of the future and today. And I don’t just love this for its geeky writer research value ;->
On a shallower note, thanks to Dave Barry’s new blog, I am received of the happy news that today is the 50th anniversary of one of my favorite thingies - Peeps! Happy Golden Jubilee, little dudes! Now c’mere so I can bite your heads off.
News Flash - apparently my lobbying attempt has failed and sour apple martinis are not considered a fruit by Weight Watchers. Guess that means that the chocolate martinis aren’t a complete protein either, huh? Blast and damn!
Call me a blood-thirsty critter, but I can think of no better use for the scrap from the WTC than forging a weapon of vengeance. My thanks to Robin Goodfellow for the link to this post pointing out the absurdity of respecting the dead by avoiding the fact of their deaths. Um, yeah. That.
One anti-war argument - Junius - making some good points which I want to respond to, but my brain is full at the moment.
