As I was pushing a palette full of disassembled rain gutter bits and bobs through Home Depot, I was fantasizing about how cool it would be to actually run into Sgt.Stryker or another blogger there in the store - one who would magically recognize me and be suitably impressed at my ability to not only bang out deathless prose and commentary (heh) but also build stuff. Then I ran into another yuppie with the business end of a downspout and got back to reality.
